Samsung demonstrated it’s true power in the electronics market in the past year. Showing off a solid assortment of cell phones, tablets, televisions, and other miscellaneous goods the company proves it’s worth as an innovative gadget creator more and more every day. One of the newest smart phones that have been rocking the market is the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch, despite its rather lengthy name the phone is definitely slim and stylish in size. Get this… this cell phone is actually one of the thinnest smart phones in the entire world! Some of the features that set the Galaxy II Epic apart from its competitors are the huge touch screen display as well as the hummingbird processor.
Starting off with the intense components of the phone, the 4 inch AMOLED really delivers a beautiful looking glass into the Galaxy. It gives off vibrant colors and crisp letters. One of the main reasons that many business’ are picking up smart phones as a short term replacement for laptops, on something like a holiday trip or long car ride, due to the inherent lightweight and portable design of the device. The Galaxy specifically was built to be carried around and fits in anywhere, it has a super slim profile and is about as thick as a few credit cards. This, along with the bar style ergonomics, gives the phone a pleasant feel and makes it enjoyable to hold rather than a nuisance.
Coming in at a full $199.99 with contract price the Galaxy II is rather pricy but compared to an iPhone or Android device it is actually pretty similar. Another interesting fact to note is that there are separate versions for each carrier. It seems that this phone was so special that both AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon all wanted to get their own version of the device and there are some deal breaker differences on each one, depending on what you are looking for in the phone. The Sprint version supports both WiMax and LTE when AT&T only edges up to HSPA+. This would make the Sprint version seem better but the downside is that these features add on some width to the phone, originally one of its main selling points. So the choice is up to the buyer now, would you rather opt for a thinner phone or one that features more network choices and faster data speeds. One thing is for sure, whatever option you choose will make you happy because the Samsung Galaxy II Epic 4G Touch is one amazing smart phone that’s packed full of awesome features and the latest tech.
