Are you one of the people who just cannot seem to get up in the morning? Do you dread the awful sound of that buzzing alarm clock? Well I know I do… But my other problem is that my subconscious has out-smarted the clock and I now hit the snooze button without giving it a second thought. Unfortunately this leads to me being late almost every single day to school. A typical morning goes one of two ways for me, option A: “Oh wow, It’s almost like I got a full night of sleep for once” And then I realize that it’s nine o’clock and I have slept through my first period class. After this usually comes, “@!%$&.” The other possible way that I wake up is angry, stressed out, and frantic to turn off that loud buzzing noise. I bet you guys can understand why I was searching for a new alarm clock the past few weeks!

Fortunately I discovered Clocky, the clock with wheels. Now some of you might be thinking this thing is a “clock from hell,” but I can assure you it is nothing of the sort. When this little guy gets to the specified time, he sprints off of your desk or bureau and starts spastically zooming around the room, until you turn it off of course. This accomplishes two things, you now have to get up because this guy almost never runs out of batteries and you forget all about having to wake up as you chase your alarm clock around your bedroom. I have to say it is definitely hilarious seeing someone react to Clocky for the first time, they first give off this scared look like their home is being invaded and then realize what is happening to them.

Supposedly this clock is safe to put around a height of 3 feet or so. This seemingly low height is due to the fact that when it revs up and flies off of your desk, the creators of this product do not want it turning into the next patriot missile. I’ve got to say, this creature is both fun and useful. It has definitely cleared up a couple of my morning problems and I am using it as my main alarm clock now. The only real downsides of Clocky, are that the noises which it makes when it turns on for the alarm are similar to Air Raid warning sounds, I would assume. They are extremely loud and basically just do their job of getting you up, which would be great but if you have a nearby roommate or apartment mate you may want to rethink getting the world’s loudest alarm clock. All in all for the price being right around $25 to $30, you really cannot go wrong in purchasing this clock. It seems to come in a large variety of colors, including Raspberry, Black, White, and Chrome that I personally own. This could be a great gift for your teenager, or the perfect way to fix your own morning problems and start waking up much happier and more alert.
