The AAXA P2 is one of the newest players in the pico projector marketplace. It has a native SVGA resolution, as well as a very bright 33 lumens. In addition, the projector’s light source is rated at 30,000 hours thanks to its LED technology. These are some of the strongest specs ever seen in a commercially available pico projector.

The projector uses LCoS, or liquid crystal on silicon, technology. In addition, it has 1GB of onboard memory, as well as a MicroSD card reader. The projector also has two half-watt speakers. This is a pretty cool way to present photos or presentations with a single unit.

The P2 is slightly louder and bulkier than many pico projectors in the market. It has a noise level rating of 30 dB. In addition, the projectors battery only lasts about an hour. The quality of color is also subpar when compared to other projectors in its class.

Where this projector really signs is its brightness. 33 lumens is among the brightest commercially available pico projectors that we have seen to this day. The P2 is capable of an 80-inch screen from 11 feet away in pitch darkness, as well as a 37-inch screen with some ambient light. This is by far one of the best performers in terms of brightness.

The P2 is ok for someone who wants to have a small entertainment projector that they can take with them and have no hassle setting up. However, the projector really shines in the business world, allowing people to display their presentations easily and quickly without having to worry about replacing the lamp every year or so.

As you can see, the P2 is a great portable projector for someone who wishes to display a big image quickly and easily. However, home theater enthusiasts will not be making it their primary projector any time soon.
