There are many digital cameras to choose from on the market today. The Kodak EasyShare Z915 is a mid-range priced camera that will appeal to every level of photo enthusiast.  It’s a common belief that a digital camera must cost a lot or have a high megapixel value in order to be considered a good camera. This isn’t true and the Kodak EasyShare Z915 proves this out.  The camera has some very nice features. There is a 2.5 inch LCD screen to help with framing shots. The Quick Capture mode is a real plus for taking action shots that would otherwise be missed by a slow shutter. Image Stabilization helps to prevent blurry shots that come from shaking hands or being in a moving vehicle. There is also 10x zooming for taking pictures from a distance.

The Z915′s 10 megapixel value allows for better quality when resizing or cropping. Prints can be made up to 30 inches by 40 inches in size.   This camera has a 32MB memory that is easily expandable with the SDHC/SD card slot.

While this camera is affordable and stylish, there are some points to consider. The Z915 competes with the likes of the Panasonic ZS3 and the Canon SX200, and some reviewers found the Z915 to be of flimsier build than the other two cameras. It was also found to be more vulnerable to scratches and smudges than its competition. This camera also lacks a wide angle lens, which may be considered a disadvantage to some photographers. The general consensus is that the Kodak EasyShare Z915 is a good choice for the average consumer looking for a bargain.

The camera retails for $199.00 and can be found in most big box electronics stores, as well as online.
